The City of San Antonio Office of Military Affairs, utilizing grant investment provided through the Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Economic Adjustment (OEA), will undertake community economic adjustment and growth management planning activities in response to base realignment actions. BRAC 2005 realignments to the San Antonio area include:
- Expansion of Fort Sam Houston (consolidation of Military Medical training)
- Expansion of HQ Installation Management Command
- Joint Basing
In order to plan for changes the region will undergo in the next five to ten years, the OMA has tasked The DiLuzio Group, LLC to develop a Growth Management Plan (GMP) focused on the changes needed to accommodate BRAC growth and implementation in San Antonio.
Team DiLuzio will use this website as a portal to communicate Growth Management Plan progress as well as notices for public meetings.
